Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has rented a house in the Rockcliffe area of Ottawa, where he plans to stay for at least another year. This rented property is located near 24 Sussex Drive, the official residence of prime ministers, where Trudeau lived as a child during his father’s tenure as prime minister.

Sources indicate that despite residing in Ottawa, Trudeau has no intentions of participating in the federal election campaign. Reports suggest he wishes to remain in this house until his daughter Ella-Grace and younger son Hadrian complete their schooling.

Notably, Trudeau has not made any public appearances since stepping down as prime minister. Approximately a week ago, he shared a photo of himself shopping for kitchen appliances at Canadian Tire.
