The Patiala House Court in Delhi has issued summons against Bollywood legend Dharmendra and two other individuals in connection with a cheating case linked to the Garam Dharam Dhaba franchise. The summons, which were issued on December 5, 2024, stem from a complaint filed by Delhi-based businessman Sushil Kumar, who alleges he was deceived into investing in the restaurant chain.

According to Kumar’s complaint, he was approached in April 2018 by one of the co-accused on behalf of Dharmendra, with an enticing offer to open a Garam Dharam Dhaba franchise in Uttar Pradesh. He was reportedly told that the existing outlets in Connaught Place, Delhi, and Murthal, Haryana, were generating a monthly turnover of around Rs 70-80 lakh.

The court has scheduled the next hearing for February 20, 2025.
